We have started the 2009-2010 wrestling season. There are some changes for those of you returning. Most of the changes are to help the new wrestlers and new parents. They will also help streamline the practice and tournament process throughout the year.

Practices will be a little confusing until the end of January since we share our practice facility with the concessions for the junior high. A practice schedule has been posted on this site under the calendar button and there are paper copies available at practice. This may mean that there might be practices on a few Wednesdays and Fridays. This WILL NOT be the case through out the season and we will go back to our usual Monday, Tuesday, Thursday practices. We know this will be an inconvenience for some but with our first two tournaments coming soon we want to be prepared.

Nate Fowler went to the 2010 United States Junior Championships the first weekend of January. Nate went into his 16 man bracket unseeded. He came home early Sunday morning the 2010 USJOC Champion after finishing his last match around 10 p.m. Saturday night. He also received Outstanding Wrestler in Division III for winning all of his matches with pins. For winning the champion title he received a medal and a silver ring. For his OW achievement he received a gold ring.
