Coach's Corner

Coach Rey Garza has been coaching the "Mighty Vikings" since 1989.
Coach Garza has been involved with the sport of Cross-Country since his high school days at Parlier High (1977-1979). After high school he left the small community of Parlier to experience the brutal workouts of Coach Bob Fries at Fresno City College. He transfered the following year to formally Kings River Community College, now Reedley College. After some much need time off, he eventually earned his Liberal Studies degree from the University of Fresno Pacific.

Coach Garza continues training and some times enters races when he is proded heavily by current students and his alumni runners.

Coach Garza is married to Alice Marie and has two children; daughter Christina Rae, and son Steven Martin.
