Mt. Baldy League Meet 2



Yes, I am a little late reporting on the league meet held last Wednesday. It was a great race on a rough and slow course. Check out the notes in the stats section.

2006 so far...



The season has started somewhat off the wrong foot missing Daniel Garza for two weeks and Sammy Sanchez for one. Results and photos for the Mt. Baldy league meet at Chaffey High School can be seen in the stats section so check it out. And of course, all race photos are credited to Sal Duyan, Brandon Duyan's dad.

Summer 2006

What an amazing summer its been! The new team have ran at several open meets such as RCC, Legg Lake and Sunset in the Park! Look for several updates in the next few days including roster updates, results, and pictures!

Lucky 7 at State!
Congrats to Markie and Stomps, finishing both their races in seventh place! The season may be unoffically over, but Footlocker is coming next week!

CIF Finals: Cheer Up

Lugo barely misses a spot to go to state in yet another day of bad luck. Sammy and Ramiro had some set backs with their injuries, while Cesar was unable to run because he's sick.
On the brighter side, Stomps and Markie are going to state as individuals. Markie ran an amazing time of 17:56! And if history repeats itself, Stomps just might win the state title. Every two years, so this might be it!

Top 10 list finished
Big swerve in the top three. It was tough but I managed to pull through and finished the list. Check it in the history section!

CIF Prelims
Don Lugo barely advances to CIF, even with Ramiro hurt. Instead of the usual race notes, I wrote an analysis of the current roster. Check it out in the stats.

Top 10 Continues
After a long delay, the top 10 list continues with number five and four. The top three will be up next week.

Mt. Baldy League Finals

Another great showing on Friday by the Conquestadors, winning their 4th team title since joining the league. Pictures are found here and results and notes are now up in the stats.

Check this out...
In the top 25 team list for state, there is an interesting paragraph on the bottom about Lugo. I don't know what the future holds, but I'm hoping the guys(varsity) really step it up in the next month!

Mt. SAC Invite
Yeah yeah, I'm a little late this time. Notes and stuff are up in stats. No pics from the big meet though. :(

To make up for the lack of pics, I'd thought I'd just put up this pic of the twins getting their butts kicked by Stomps and Alfred.

Too much hazing
A practical joke is okay once in a while, but some are going too far. The burrito gag is really getting old. CIF is right around the corner, so knock it off or I'll knock you over the head.

League meet 2: Boy's Republic

A great race today at the very tough Boy's Republic course. No results but Lugo won all the races, with JV boys scoring 17! Check out my notes in the stats. Don't forget to see the pics here.

I also updated the roster. Added new pics and info for some of the guys.

The top 10 runners to graduate from Don Lugo
In the next few days, I will be presenting the top 10 runners ever to come out of Lugo. The first of the series are number 9 and 10. You can find it in the history section. Any feedbacks will be appreciated.

The future of Don Lugo!

Sammy, Markie, and Garza stole the spotlight today at Don Bosco Invite at Santa Fe Dam. Markie and Garza both won their races while Sammy won 2nd with a hurt hip and dragging himself to the finish!

9/6/05: In some good news, Daniel Garza is now eligible for varsity. Go Garza!

8/18/05:

Summer ends with Sunset in the Park on Thursday with Daniel Garza continuing the tradition and winning the race. The results can be found in the statistics link. Pics are found here.

8/14/05: The roster has been updated once again, and I have posted a commentary about the current status of the team. You can read it in the news section.


8/11/05:

The team was at Riverside Community College yesterday in Moreno Valley. The course was a very slow 3 miler. Daniel Garza won the race at 16:39. Results will be posted when it becomes availiable. Pictures can be found in the link. RCC Pics


7/21/05: In a suprising turn of events, Lugo has been dropped to Division II. It is unsure if it'll stay that way for the rest of the season.


7/19/05: A new season means a new change on the site. History and roster have been updated. Results from previous seasons have been lost unfortunately.
