Cajon Boys League Record since 2000 (119-37) .76%
[Records achieved during 30 league races over ten seasons.]
{League records are kept by scoring each mini meet as an individual dual against each school. At the end of each season we have a record against each league team in three races. This is a reason for the high numbers in a short period of time.}
The San Andreas League holds three mini-mets each season where all 6 teams compete in the same race. The first two meets are worth 1/4 points each and league finals is double points (1/2). The points for the first two meets are as follows:
1st=5...2nd=4...3rd=3...4th=2...5th=1...6th=0...
*League finals is double points. In case of a tie for position in standings, top seed goes to the finals winner. If two teams tie for 1st, the top team at finals receives #1 seed
and they are deemed co-champs.
Cajon rises to the challenge and and outruns San G for boys and girls titles. The girls rebound from Mini #2 loss to capture their sixth SAL title, 6th in school history. Julio Ayala becomes Cajon's second individual champion and leads Cajon past the Spartans.

2008 SAL FINALS RESULTS
@ PACIFIC
CAJON GIRLS WITH FIFTH TITLE IN A ROW IN DOMINATING FASHION AND CAJON BOYS BREAK THROUGH TO WIN SECOND SAL TITLE IN SCHOOL HISTORY AND FIRST IN 13
YEARS.
In the girls race, Antoinette Padilla lead start to finish,
outlasting Marisela Giles of Cajon. The Cowgirls went on
to place four more in the top 10 to win in a rout. In a
season that we began with heavy hearts with the passing
of Vicky Lemus, the girls took it upon themselves to win
GOLD for her. The cowgirls ran twelve different girls at the
varsity level on this, sixth consecutive title run.
Hector Gomez cruised his way to the individual boys title
ahead of Greg Valdivia of San G. Still, it was Cajon with
five of the next eight spots to beat Arroyo Valley by 8
points to knock them off their SAL throne. Huge day from
Felix Garza and the rest secured the win. With usual
number 4 runner Brad Rutledge falling victim of an early
race incident, Garza charged through the pack to finish
10th.
