3/20: The Storm finished as runners-up in the Batavia Tournament, going 3-1 overall. The Storm defeated Batavia, DePew and Cazenovia before falling to Cavenovia in the title game.
3/13: The Storm had a busy day, playing three games. On Sunday morning, they avenged a loss from yesterday, defeating Perinton 4-1. Jack, Matt, John and Kevin scored.
In the afternoon, the Ice Storm, knowing they had clinched a spot in the championship game, changed things up a bit, starting Jeff in goal. Bracket skated out and scored his first goal of the season, and added an assist in a 9-2 win over Onondaga. Matt had a hat-trick with other goals going to Jordan (2), Andrew M., Andrew H., and Adam. Every player on the Storm has scored at least one goal this season!
The Storm were worn out in their third game of the day and lost to Perinton 3-2. Jack had both goals.
3/12: The Ice Storm split a pair of games on Saturday at the Lakeshore Tournament. In the early game, the Ice Storm dropped a 3-2 decision to Perinton. Jack and Matt scored. In the afternoon game, the Storm defeated Onondaga 9-1. Jack and David had a pair of goals, while others were scored by Adam, Jake, Matt, Andrew H. and John.
2/20: The Storm were without several players, including their goaltender and leading scorer, and lost to Webster in the playdowns.
2/6: The regular season same to an end with a 3-0 loss to MCYH Lakeshore. The Storm now await their seeding for the league playdowns, which begin on 2/17.
1/29: The Storm split a pair of games this week. On Wednesday, the Ice Storm dropped a scrimmage game to Webster (Ziemendorf), 6-3. On Saturday, in league play, the Storm defeated Webster (Winderl) 1-0. Matt had the only goal, assisted by Jordon. Brackett recorded his third shutout of the season.
1/16: The Storm defeated Geneseo 4-1 today. Kevin had a pair of goals, while Matt and Mike also scored. Jack had two assists. The Storm improved to 9-4-1 in conference.
1/9: The Ice Storm scored a pair of wins this weekend. On Saturday, they defeated MCYH Scottsville by a score of 2-1. Jeff and Chris scored for the Storm. On Sunday, the Storm came from behind to defeat Geneseo 4-3. Jake, Jack, Matt and Kevin scored.
1/2: The Storm outshot Batavia 30-2 on the way to a 5-0 win. David had two goals, while Kevin, John and Mike also scored. Lots of assists were handed out, including ones to Kevin, Adam, Matt, David, Mike and Andrew M.
12/19: The Ice Storm lost to Webster 3-2. The Storm gave up two early goals but fought back to tie the game in the third period thanks to goals by Jordan and David. A late power play goal won the game for Webster.
12/18: The Storm dropped a 4-1 decision to the Perinton Bruins. John scored for the Storm.
12/12: The Ice Storm split a pair of league games this weekend. On Saturday, the Storm dropped a 4-2 decision to the Perinton Leafs. Jack and David scored for the Storm.
On Sunday, the team rebounded for a 5-1 over Rochester. Jeff had a goal and three assists, with other goals going to Matt, David, Jordan and Jack. The Storm's record now stands at 5-2-1 in league play, 9-7-1 overall.
12/4: The Storm tied MCYH Scottville 1-1 on home ice. Jack had the lone goal for the Storm, and Brackett made 15 saves. The Ice Storm are now 4-1-1 in league play.
11/28: The Ice Storm concluded tournament play with a 4-0 win over Geneseo. Jack had a hat trick and David scored the other goal. Brackett posted his first shutout of the season.
11/27: Saturday of the Thanksgiving Tournament was not kind to the Storm as they dropped a pair of close games. In the morning, Scottsville defeated the Storm 4-2. Jack and David were the goal scorers. In the afternoon, Webster scored two third period goals to pull away with a 3-1 win. Kevin scored for the Ice Storm.
11/26: The Storm opened play in the Monroe County Thanksgiving Tournament with a 4-1 win over the Perinton Bruins. Jack, Andrew H, David and Jeff scored.
11/22: The Ice Storm lost to Webster in a scrimmage game, 5-2. Jeff and Jordan scored for the Storm, in a tuneup for the upcoming Thanksgiving tournament.
11/20: The Storm went to 4-1 in conference with a 6-1 win over the Perinton Maple Leafs. Jack had a hat-trick, with other goals coming from David, John and Jeff. Kevin and Matt had two assists each and Brackett kept the Storm in the game when they were outshot 10-1 in the second period.
11/14: After a weekend off, the Storm returned to league play with a pair of road games. On Saturday, the Ice Storm defeated Tri-County 2-1. Jack and Jeff scored for the Storm. On Sunday, the team dropped a close game to a Perinton team, 3-2. John and Jake scored, and Brackett was outstanding in net, making 27 saves.
10/30: The Storm played its first home game of the season today and defeated Canandiagua 3-1. After spotting the Knights a 1-0 lead, the Storm scored one goal in each period for the win. Jake, Jack and Mike scored for the Ice Storm.
10/24: The Ice Storm played its first conference game, a 5-3 win over Webster. Jeff had a pair of goals, while Kevin, Matt and David also scored.
10/10: The Storm opened the season at the Lakeshore Columbus Day Early Bird Tournament. On Friday, the Ice Storm defeated a Monroe County Lakeshore team 5-1. Mike had two goals, while Jordan, Jake and Jeff also scored. Brackett was outstanding in net.
On Saturday, the storm dropped a 4-1 decision to Perinton. The game was scoreless until about six minutes to play, and then the goals came fast and furious. Jordan tallied for the Storm.
Later in the day, the Storm defeated Tri-County 3-1. Mike had two goals and Jordan also scored.
That set up a semifinal game against MYCH Scottsville, which scored a pair of goals in the second and third periods to win 4-1. Kevin tallied for the Storm to stake them to a 1-0 lead early in the second period.
9/29: We've got a few practices under our belts and the team is coming together nicely. The core is the undefeated PeeWee B team from last year, plus a handful of '92 "A" players from last season as well as some new guys from Rochester Youth Hockey.
