8. Why aren't the data in tables I make updated?
Whenever you make changes to the data within a table, always make sure you press the "Update Table Data" button before doing any other action like deleting or adding rows or columns. A good tip when building your table is to first add all the columns and rows you need and then insert the data within the cells.

9. What are the differences between the column types?
Depending on the data that is to be expected in the columns, you need to select the right type if you want the table to behave properly. Alpha type is for anything other than numeric that don't need to be linked such as member names, team names, etc. Numeric is for columns that will receive numeric values like points, goals, assists, etc. Computers sort numbers and words differently. If you select the alpha type for a column that contains numbers, your numbers will be sorted as follow; 1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 3, 4, 5... Select email and URL for columns that contain either email addresses or web addresses. Choosing those last 2 types will make the data as links.

10. Why the URL's in my table are not linking properly?
Always make sure you put "http://" in front of your links.

11. How do I use the <B> <U> and <I> HTML tags?
To use those three HTML tags simply put the text between the respective tags. Remember the closing tag must have a "/" in it.

For example, the following:
This is normal text. <B>This is bold text</B>.
<I>This is italic text</I>. <U>This is underlined text</U>.

Will be seen as the following on your site.
This is normal text. This is bold text.
This is italic text. This is underlined text.

You may use combinations like the following:
<B><U>This text is undelined and bold</U></B>.

Will be seen as the following on your site.
This text is underline and bold.

NOTE: Those 3 tags are the only HTML tags accepted. All other tags will automatically be removed from your text.

12. What are cookies?
Introduced with Netscape Navigator 1.0 and offered by Internet Explorer 3.0 or later, a cookie is a small string of letters and numbers that a web page requests your web browser to store. This string (we'll call it the cookie from now on) is sent back to the web page by your browser when you visit again, with the idea that the web page can now remember who you were, and make the page personalized for you on your return.

KidsSportsnet.com and many other websites use cookies to remember your preferences and configuration. Cookies poses no security or privacy risk to you, it is simply a reminder so that we can fetch your login information and allow you access to your Control Panel.
