Welcome to the AMETHYST FLAMES web site. We are a majorette troupe based in Harlow in Essex. Please feel free to have a look around our site, it is very new and will be updated as we learn how to use it. (At present we are having problems with our internet access and so not always able to update information)
A little History......
Our troupe has been running in Harlow for over 30 years, we were origianlly know as the Harlow Majorettes and our uniforms used to be red. We changed our name and colour in the early 90's with the name being chosen by the members of that time. Our new colours were chosen to go with the new name, so our uniforms are now purple with pink.
Training.........
We train every Monday evening at Our Lady Fatima Church hall in Harlow from 5.45pm until 7.00pm (for our beginners) and until 8.45pm (for all other members).
Coaches.........
We have two trainers who are there every Monday evening, they are Sandie,and Brenda. We also have Maxine who comes along to help make up some team routines.
Organisations........
We are members of A.BT.U.K and UKBTA
We enter team competitions with both organisations in classes such as beginner twirl teams, Dance teams, pom teams and flag teams.
