News for 2007 season:
*Training: As you are all aware we are meant to be training wednesday's + saturday's from now as we have extra routines to learn - though the centre has been booked up for christmas activities so the only saturdays that are available are 1st, 22nd + 29th December - 5.30-8.00pm. So the next two saturdays there is no training!!
This wednesday coming (21st Nov) training will be @ 6pm for everyone, then after that will be normal time 5-8pm for the rest of the season.
If you get a bit confused with all the dates + stuff jus txt me or summat.
*ID Cards: Can you all please bring a passport photo for your ID card next week (21st Nov) to training along with £1.50 so that i can have them ready for the AGM meeeting - If i get them sorted straight away then i can enter you for TA, so please don't forget!!!
*Seniors Deighton & Brackenhall Initiative have asked us if we would be able to do a short display at their 10th anniversary as we have been apart of the local community for a while. I said that we would do it so it is going to be a night do on the 16th October about 8.30ish - so lisa i say we get ready at yours, ha ha ha!!! We will put something together within the next two weeks - make sure you put the date in your diaries ok.
*Ok guys you all know that we are definately going ahead with our competitions for the sake of our junior team so i need us all to pull together and work as a troupe in preparation for the event. We will have a quick meeting on wednesday 26th sept just to go over job roles + stuff that we need to do. We won't be having a tombola this time, though will be having a tuck shop and then usual food + drinks. Seniors i am counting on you for maximum support as we dont really have that many adults within the troupe, so please do not let me down - though i know that you won't. Watch this space for more news ok.
*Guys this is important now... you all need to get your money paid for pontins do not leave it till the last minute or else we will not be able to afford to get the uniforms and that won't be gud now will it...
*The troupe have been booked for a special West End performance in London in April - I will be finalising the details though when everything is sorted i will let you know as we have to bring a big audience with us so we will have to get lots of people to come and support us. Good opportunity though girlies - it will be fun...!!!
*Guys we might have to get together just to sort out numbers for pontins - This year its just seniors because of the juniors having exams so only a few of us going this year though should still be fun... I will let you kno a date for this meeting!!! Have fun at training, but not too much without me...
News for 2006 season:
*Meeting on sat 18th nov 6pm to sort out 2007 season, All crusaders need to be there and new members too. If possible bring me a passport photo for the AGM, the sooner we get them out of the way the better.
*The coach for wed will be picking up denis first @ 2pm then making its way upto brackenhall by about 2.30pm. So everyone make sure that you are on Crest Hill for around 2.20pm, unless we have arranged to pick you up from somewhere else - Only six days to go now guys...
*Ok last training this wk (25th oct) we av to knuckle down for the big comp as we know that it is going to be tough. Juniors @ 5.30pm + seniors @ 6.30pm - I shall bring treats!!!!
*Everyone has got training 10 - 12pm @ the deighton arena on sunday 10th sept. This is on the comp day and we will be traveling to the comp straight after in cars... Please make sure that you have all of your stuff with you as we really need this training ok.
*Juniors you haven't got training again on wed 6th sept but you have got it on thurs 7th sept ok 6.30 - 7.30pm and then you will have sat aswell 6-8pm ok, this is just to make sure you all know what you are doing before the comp and to refresh kerri + cara as they get back from their hol on sat.
*Blackpool is on the horizon.... You all need to let me know whether you just wanna go for a day out or to do a display and a bit of fundraising? hmmmm let me think which one i wanna do...? I fink im gonna do it for a sunday in aug so you need to let me know who is coming so that i can get the wristbands booked and paid for - cant wait i hope it HOT!!
*We will be meeting for pontins at 12pm outside the community centre make sure you have everything with you as wales is a long way away - we will not be able to turn back!! Seniors bring both dance and open uniforms and dont forget your jazz shoes, juniors just dance uniforms with your red shorts and babies bring your lovely dresses.
On arrival we will sort out rooms and give everyone time to settle in... at approximately 6pm we will be training every section, we'll start with babies and work our way up. The competition starts on saturday morning 10am so we have to be prepared...!!
Dancing on Saturday is Babies, Junior Dance and Senior Open then on Sunday its just Senior Dance As our Junior Open is not yet ready. Presentation is at approximately 3.30pm.
*Pontins is all sorted out we don't have to have a meeting anymore as someone has dropped out so everything is cool - thank god!!
*Pontins - I need everyone to attend a meeting in a couple of weeks to discuss apartments because we haven't been able to have all the ones that we want so there needs to be some re-arranging of who goes where - I will let you know when it is, probably some time over easter because im not at uni.
*Hey Seniors ive ordered your new open uniforms so hopefully you can try them on at training... I can't wait!! Guys i'm still trying to sort out our giants deal so as soon as i find out whats going on i will let you know - we might have to do a promotional event at visage soon just to get us recognised, remember the last one it was so much fun...This time we may have a full squad though - hmmm we'll see.
*On sat (11th march) can juniors bring their dance uniforms with them so that i can get them altered for the first comp and let me know sizes for your open stuff, thanx.
*Girlies some of you have not given me pics for ID cards - this is not good if i don't get them soon you won't be able to dance at first comp... Come on get your brains into gear!!!
*Hey guys time is running away with us and we are a bit behind schedule with some of our routines - make sure that you all turn up next saturday (11th march)as i will have lots for you to do.
*Training last week when i was on half-term was really good, guys the new routines are looking great - theres still lots of tidying up to do but we know we can do that all you need to do is keep up the work and make sure when i come back in two weeks that you have all remembered your new formations... Hmmmmm
*Hiya Guys, great news about Jonathan liking us - he was totally amazed at the ability of you all, the deal should be going ahead soon. So lets just hope the thought of dancing infront of 10,000 people doesn't scare us off now... Arrrrrhh

News from 2004 - 2005 season:
*Hey Seniors just to let you know that we have been asked to open an event at one of our local night clubs - Visage - If you want to do it let me know as soon as possible. I think that this would be good for us as our seniors haven't performed on home ground for a while... Lets do it guys!!!
*Training this saturday (13th Aug) for juniors only - we need to get this open finished please make sure that you all attend 6pm - 7.30pm, Phone me if you are not coming!
*Guys we might possibly have training this weekend for both seniors and juniors 5.30 till 8.00pm i will let you know on wednesday. Also you need to let me know the numbers for blackpool so that i can finalise all the wristbands for pleasure beach...
*Training this weekend 7th May at 5.00pm just for the senior team next weeks training 14th May will be for all teams as usual and guys take note of next weeks date i'll be expecting lots of pressies...ha ha im only joking!!! See ya on sat.
*This competition is open to anyone who views our site so if you are in the age range go to the website and get involved - if you go to our links it will take you directly to the British Gas site.
*I've been told to inform you youngsters that British Gas are doing a competition for someone aged between 7 - 14 to design a mascot for their company. If you win you will recieve upto £2000 for the troupe or your school. This mascot can be a cartoon character so if you're good at drawing you should enter - well even if you're not still give it a go. The comp is open to children all over england so it will be quite difficult though you could recieve a lot of media coverage - I say you should go for it guys! Remember that all these things that we do as a troupe that are associated with gas are in memory of Dominic Rodgers a dear friend of ours who passed away in his sleep from carbon monoxide poisoning. We want to show that we are doing all that we can so get involved guys it will be fun...!!!

*Training this sat (2nd April) for everyone as its the last one you get with me for two weeks then its crunch time!! Be there on time 5.00pm Babies, 5.30pm Juniors, 6pm Seniors - lots off hard work to do girlies.
*Competition dates for the season are now on the site - take a look carefully and make sure you let me know when your holidays are booked ok!!

*Saturday training this week (19th March) begins at 5.00pm everyone is expected to be there - Babies, Juniors & Seniors.
We still have some work to do to be ready for first comp, (which i want us all to dance in) Though the hard work is paying off so far because all the new stuff looks great!!
*Training this week (Thursday 17th March) for juniors is compulsary to attend as you are to be measured for your uniforms. Please make sure that you all get there for 6.30pm - if you can't make it let me know ASAP and i will have to arrange some other time for you to be measured.
*Urgent - Photo's for ID Needed ASAP!!!!!!
*If any of you lot are not busy on saturday 12th Feb (in the morning) it would be nice if you could go and support stacey at Deighton, as it Dominics anniversary and i think that lots of familiar faces would help her through this time.
I believe she will be there from 10am and there is a tribute football match happening: - Kick off at 10.30am
In between this half hour there will be a minute silence to pay respect and i think that some of you should go down if you can. If you can't make it, take a moment aside from what you are doing and just do the minute where ever you are.
We all knew Dom so well and he kind of grew up around us so just think about him... and stacey!!
*Bad News girls FHM shoot has been cancelled - I'll inform you next week with all details!!! No training on Sat now.
*Training on Thursday 3rd of feb will be changed to Friday 4th if we can have the hall - i will let you all know if it is for definate as i need to see all the tinies, dinkies and babies.
Training Sat 5th will start at 5.30pm with juniors then seniors after.
*We have now been confirmed so are actuall performing, we will get picked up in huddersfield town centre at 4.00pm and then will go straight to the ground - you will need £5 each for the minibus fare. Wednesday Training will be cancelled!!!!!
*Wednesday 2nd February we have been asked to support a football team for a tournament they have got in leeds which we will have to do a short display.
Here's the good bit, FHM magazine will be there taking photo's and also TV camera's will be there - another good opportunity girls let me know who is available to attend as they don't need us all (probably just seniors).
*Training this saturday 22nd jan @ 5.30pm (Juniors) please be there on time as we have a lot of work to do, seniors arrive at 6pm please. We will finish approx. 8.00pm!
*URGENT I need your passport photos for YCA meeting - bring them to training before i go back to liverpool please, thank you - That means everyone Seniors, Juniors, Tinies, Dinkies & Babies.

Anyways update on House of Commons just the senior team is going as it would be too much for us all to go (You lot make sure that you have Booked it off work...?) We are going down really early about 6am so we'll be there all day don't know if we are staying over night yet though?
