Fund Raising

We are currently rasing funds for all our teams to dance in YCA competitions. Here we will put events that we will be holding or attending so that you can come along and support.
2008
*We have 2 dates booked for bag packing in August... I know its something you don't want to do but it will help towards bridlington prep, transport + that, you know we need it!!! Again i expect all members to atleast show there faces for a couple of hours - remember we are ment to be a TEAM so lets try act like 1.

*The troupe have been booked to perform at a gala in Oldham on sunday 22nd June 2008 - We will be getting paid for this event so i hope that you can all attend...!!! Every little helps.

*The troupe would like to thank The Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing for donating to us a generous amount from their Community Grant scheme. The money has been a massive help and went towards our transport costs to our first competition in Wales.

*Crusaders would like to thank The Commons Goods Trust for donating some money to us to help towards costs within our troupe. We are really grateful for your kind, generous donation and know that it will really help us to get the girls all the things they need for our competitions. Thank you again.

*Crusaders watch this space for information on our fundraising event - our own comp on the 7th October - If we can have it it will be held at The Deighton Centre + will be for open majorette teams. It will be a chance for us to try + generate some more funds for the troupe so if you have any ideas of stalls or extra things we could do then please just let me know ok.

*Again the troupe would like to thank The Peoples Purse: Neighbourhood Renewal Scheme for giving us another generous grant to help towards our transportaion cost - without it we would not have been able to attend all of our comps so Big thanks to you!!!

*The whole troupe would like to say a big thank you to the Neighbourhood Renewal: Peoples Purse scheme as they gave us a generous grant this year (2006)to help us attend all of our competitions. We really appreciate it because without your help we would not have been able to compete - you have made a lot of young people very happy... Thank You.

*16th July the whole troupe have been booked for a parade and display @ East Morten Gala.

*1st July Senior team has been asked to do a display at Salendine Nook YMCA.

*Thank You to The Commons Goods Trust for giving us a donation this year (2006) to purchase our new open uniforms for juniors and seniors and for the baby uniforms.

* Guys we are in serious need of funding as we have got a lot of comps this year that require us to get a coach... If any of you guys have any suggestions of what we can do or know of anyone who can help us out please let me (sophie) know. I am doing all that i can but i need your help aswell.

*This year (2005) the troupe recieved a grant from Voluntary Action Kirklees: Community Chest Fund which helped towards cost of transport to competitions and purchasing new uniforms and batons. Thank You Very much!!!

June 5th we will be hosting our own competition @ YMCA Milnsbridge. This will help us to raise money for the troupe that will go towards coaches and new uniforms.
If you are interested in coming along feel free to do so as there will be a lot of the local talent on showcase.
