History

THe Silhouette Dance Majorettes formed in 1998 by myself and four other twirling friends and with the help of my dad Mr Harry :)

By the beggining of 1999 the other four girls who used to help train left to pursue other things and ever since me and my dad have run the silhouettes, and every year the troupe gets bigger and better!

In 2001 we set up a committee with the help of parents and we started organising fund raising events and started participating in more competitions x

Now in 2003 the silhouettes are better than ever and are working harder than ever to ensure that they build upon the standards they have already achieved!!!

After our presentation night in 2003 Kimberley ceased training the Silhouettes . So I the Troupe leader Mr Harry had to get another trainer for 2004 and i got three these are the new trainers :- Head Trainer Amanda Hopkinson,Second Trainer Rosanne Smith and Military Trainer Justine Brighton

Shannon Brown is Tiny Leader Baton
Emma Coupland is Tiny Leader Pom Pom

In the year of 2005 I allowed Justine Brighton to do Military to see if we could achieve anything in these routines we did get one or two trophies but not what I wanted.Amanda Hopkinson did the tinies these girls did fantastic there was`nt one comp where we came home without a trophie.for the first time we tried the Combination trained by Amanda and we came first at Blackpool.

2006 we dropped Military,my trainers are now Amanda Hopkinson
Juniors Pompom,Baton + Combination and also helps with the Seniors,Melissa Gill with help from Kim Senior Pompom,Laura Clayton Senior Baton also Melissa trains our new Novice troupe.
