2-1-03 I went to Desoto this morning for a clinic with Jason Rogers. I got 3rd at the races tonight.

2-26-03 BMXMoms.com took us to Guthrie for the weekend. On Saturday I made it to quarter Mains in the 10 X class but didn't qualify. Sunday I didn't make it. It snowed like crazy. It started snowing when we got to the track early Sunday morning and didn't stop until late that afternoon. Me and Zack played in the snow after the races. ITWASSOCOLD!

2-20-03 I am going to Guthrie friday to race at the sooner nationals.

2-17-03 I raced at Desoto friday night and got 3rd. Saturday night i got 4th. We went to Billy Bob's in Fort Worth Sunday and then went to Cowtown BMX and got 1st.

2-8-03 I got my District #1 plate in the mail yesterday. It's really COOL.
We went to Desoto tonight and raced at Metroplex BMX. I got 1st place.
I am now riding for the team "Chain Gang". It is Metro bikes BMX team. I can't wait to get my new jersey. My friend Zack Knotts will be riding for them too. THISISGOOD

2-2-03 Opps! I have not updated since last year.THATISBAD. Well I have been racing at Cargill Park BMX every weekend and doing pretty good. I won today. Other than that I went to Wichita with Mike Arender but I didn't make my mains.THATISBADTOO

12-14-02 Well today was my last race of the year. I raced at Cargill and got 1st place. I think I will finish the year at #7 in my district in class and #1 in cruiser. My mom will finish with #1 in district for girls cruiser. I am not for sure yet but I think Custer Fontana will be district #1 in class and Pauline Fontana will be Girls #1.

12-05-02 We got back from Tulsa Monday night. Friday at the ROC I got 4th place in opens. I crashed in my quarters in class. I made it to quarters in cruiser but didn't make it out. Nothing at the grands. But my good friend Josh Knott WON the grands. He worked hard for it. Now for the good news. 4 pros gave me their jerseys. Jason Carne$, Jason Donnell, Stumpy,...AND the one and only KYLE BENNETT. Jamie Staff gave me his brand new clip shoes too. I will put some pictures up of the grands so check them out.

11-26-03 We are leaving for the grands early tomorrow morning. I'll update when I get back.

11-24-02 I raced at Cargill this weekend. I got 2nd in class and cruiser on Saturday and 1st in class and cruiser on Sunday.

11-19-02 My little brother, Chain, jumped the ramp for the first time today. We were so proud of him. He has never jumped before so it was a big accomplishment for him.

11-17-02 I am back from Dallas. I attended the KAMI All Pro Klinic this weekend. It was a lot of fun and I got to see alot of my friends. I raced cruiser friday night at Metroplex and got 2nd. Saturday morning we started the clinic at 8:45 AM. It was over with at 4:00 PM. I raced cruiser that night and got 1ST PLACE. Sunday we were back at the track at 8:00 AM for more training. Michael Spoon was awarded a Troy Lee Designs gear bag for his hard work at the clinic all weekend. Caroline Muckey was also presented an award for her hard work over the weekend.

11-11-02 Me, Zack, Josh, and Todd went to Houston, Texas this weekend for the Houston Team series. Saturday morning we went to Pro Park BMX for the first of 2 double point races. I got 3rd in cruiser and 5th in class. After that we headed to Pearland Speedway for the second double pointer of the day. I ended up with a 5th place in crusier and I didn't make my main in class.:-( We ran a local boy team sheet and ended up in 5th place in the Houston Team Series with a little help for a couple of Texas and Oklahoma boys. Thanks Chill Dog, Jason Gregory, and Cody Hungerford. Sunday we headed back to Pearland Speedway for a single point race. I got 1st in cruiser and 2nd in class. I won the mystery moto of the day and got a cool Pearland Speedway T-shirt. After that we headed to VR indoor track for the 2nd single point race of the day. I only raced cruiser and didn't make the main.

11-2-02 I raced at Cargill today. I got 1st in class and 2nd in cruiser.

10-27-02 It rained all day so we didn't get to race. I went to see Jackass The Movie. It was too funny.

10-26-02 We raced at the Louisiana State Fair today. I got 1st in class and 2nd in cruiser.

10-23-02 Rumor has it that ABA bought NBL from USA Cycling for $3,000,000. Who knows what the future holds for BMX if this is true.

10-18-02 We raced at the Louisiana State Fair today. I won my first expert race. The track was OK considering they only had a couple of days to build it.

10-13-02 I raced today at Cargill. I won on 20 and got 2nd on my cruiser. I turned expert today. After the races we went out to eat to celebrate. I was so happy.

10-9-02 I was going to go to Fl. today but I am sick. I am going to miss the Gator nationals.

10-5-02 I raced at Cargill today. Got 2nd on my cruiser. My mama raced too. She got 3rd.

10-1-02 It was a sad night for East Texas Raceway. Tonight was their last race for awhile. Well anyway I got 3rd on my cruiser. I had to race the 15 yr olds again. Oh well, I am still leading district.

9-29-02 I raced at Cargill today. I got 1st place on my cruiser. We had our own class so we didn't have to race the older kids.

9-28-02 I raced at Cargill today. I got 3rd in cruiser. We didn't have a 10 yr old class so I had to race 11 and 15 yr old.

9-27-02 I raced at Longview tonight. I got 1st in Cruiser. After we all went out to eat.

9-26-02 Following is information you will need to know for the clinic being held November 16 & 17, 2002.

When: November 16 & 17, 2002 (2 weeks before the ABA Grands))
Where: Metroplex BMX in DeSoto, Texas.
Cost: $80.00 includes 2 days of training –covering gate starts, straights, corners, rhythm, jumps, diet, exercise and more; also includes an event T-shirt and group picture. A Non-refundable deposit of $40.00 is required to secure a spot; balance due by November1, 2002. Make checks payable to Al Hunt. Checks will not be accepted after October 26, 2002. $25.00 charge for returned checks.
Open to: ABA members of Novice, Girl, Intermediate and Expert level.
Trainers: AA Pro’s - Chris Ham, Kyle Bennett, Tim Kneip and Chad Street;
A Pro’s – Chris Hunley and Ryan Whiteside.

Things to bring:
Bicycle in good working condition, shoes, spare tire tube, water or other liquid, lunch (or be able to go pick it up) and a great attitude. Long sleeve shirt or jersey, helmet and long pants are required.

Prior to November 1st there will be no refunds except for medical reasons – must have doctor’s report and absolutely no refunds after November 1, 2002.

9-24-02 I raced at Longview tonight. I got 2nd in my cruiser because I had to race a 15 yr old.

9-24-02 The Redline Cup weekend was a total bust. I got 5th in open Saturday at the US Open. I didn't make mains Sunday. :(
I had lots of fun though. Friday night me and Chain and Turner hung out at his hotel. We played pool and video games.
Saturday night Me and Chain and Josh Knott went swimming. After that I hung out with Kyle Bennett at the bar at the Ramada.
Yo Thatch did really good all weekend.
My friend, Josh Knott, had his main wrapped up when he went down right before the finish line. 6 other riders went down with him and the 8th place rider is now sporting a brand new shiney #1 redline cup number plate. Go figure! Maybe there is another # plate out there for Josh.
Thomas Richards got 2nd in cruiser and 5th in class.
Chilly Dog Nelson got 8th in cruiser.
Turner Collie got 8th in class.(crash) 3rd in open and 5th in cruiser.(crash)
Scooter Hunt got 1st in class and cruiser. Way to go!

9-18-02 Good news for Jeremy Brown of Shreveport. He was picked up by BICYCLES INC Racing Team. We would like to welcome him aboard. He will be sporting the flame job next time you see him on the track. Well he is the fastest kid in Louisiana, what else could you expect.

9-18-02 We will be leaving early in the morning for the Redline Cup Final. I have been waiting for this all year long. It is a long trip to Nebraska but I hope to bring a #1 plate home. I will let you know the outcome as soon as I get home Monday.

9-17-02 We went to Longivew tonight. Me and Chain hung out with Jake and Dalton Hooper at the races. I won my cruiser class.

9-16-02 I found out today that Caleb Tucker holds the Louisiana state record for the most district points. In 1990 he earned 18,356 points. He was 9 yrs old. I wasn't even born yet.

9-15-02 I won the Louisiana state championship race today. I am the 10 year old cruiser state champion.
My mom won today. She is the State champion too.
Zack Knotts is the 9 and under cruiser state champ.
Dominique Phipps is the 11 yr old cruiser champ.
Carolyn Phipps is the __ yr old girls cruiser champ.
Julie Cochran is the 15 yr old girl champ.
Charity Brown is the 9 yr old girl champ.
Pauline Fontana is the 11 yr old girl champ.
Johnathan Ramsey is the 7 yr old champ.
Colten Johnson is the 9 yr old champ
Chase Brooks is the 14 yr old state champ.
Terry Cox is the state champion too.

9-14-02 We had our state championship prerace today. I won my cruiser class. My mom got 3rd. Some of my team mates and friends came in from out of town. We had a fasted kid in Louisiana contest. I got 2nd in the 12 and under division. After me and my team mates went out to eat.

9-13-02 I raced at Longview tonight. I won my cruiser class. After the races we went for milkshakes.

9-10-02 Me and my brother woke up at 4 AM to go to the Skate park. The TV crew was there. We rode til 7 AM and then went to school.
I raced in Longview tonight. I took 1st place. I raced another 10 yr old and a 40 yr old.

9-8-02 Raced at Cargill again today. I got 3rd in Cruiser ONLY because I had to race older kids and men. Oh well next week I will have a class my age at double/triple weekend. I am still holding the #1 position in my district on my cruiser.

9-7-02 After the rain today we raced at Cargill. I raced my cruiser and got 1st place. My mom got 3rd again.:-( After the races I went to my friends house and played the new Matt Hoffman BMX game. It's pretty cool.

9-6-02 I raced in Longview tonight. I got 1st in cruiser. My mom got 3rd again.

9-3-02 I raced at Longview tonight. I got 1st in cruiser. My mom raced too. She got 3rd place.

9-1-02 I was in my very first dirt jumping contest today at Bikes Etc. It was the 3rd annual Icon Jump Your Bike Jam. In my 1st round I ran over a screw right before the jump and got a flat tire. I face planted. We had 3 rounds so I got to make it up. I had to take my next 2 rounds on my 16 inch bike. I made it to the finals. My friend Cory let me use his back wheel so I got to ride my 20 for the finals. We had 2 rounds in the finals.
On my 1st run I did a Huge transfer. On my 2nd run I did a turn bar over a double. I ended up getting 2nd place in the finals. I won lots of prizes.

8-30-02 I raced my cruiser at E.T. Raceway tonight. I won 1st place.

8-25-02 I raced in Desoto this weekend at the Texas state championship final. There were over 120 motos. It was alot of fun. They had some great bands and lots of give aways. I won some stuff from the Kami drawing. I also won a clock. Instead of trophies they gave clocks. I will put a picture of it on the photo page soon. The pro purse was over $2000. Our team raised over $320 for the purse. Yo Thach didn't get to race because he didn't have a bike. He was on his way to our track in Shreveport last week when his bike rack broke. His bike ended up getting run over by a truck. The only thing that he could save from it was his headset. His brothers bike was also destroyed. It was a sad week for Yo. :-(

8-17-02 I raced my cruiser today. I got 2nd place. _Storm

8-11-02 We had our Louisiana State qualifier today at Cargill Park BMX. I got 1st place on my cruiser. My mom raced and she got 3rd place on her cruiser. Everybody did good. It was a fun day. Oh yeah, my good friend, Will, won the 50/50. I think we had 18 or 19 motos. _Storm

8-10-02 I raced at Metroplex again today and got 3rd on my cruiser again. That is 3rd place the last six times i have raced there. I had to race 11 and 12 year old experts so I didn't do to bad. Maybe next time. _Storm

8-9-02 I raced my cruiser at Metroplex and got 3rd. The new track layout is pretty cool.

8-6-02 Metroplex BMX in Desoto, TX has a new layout. The track has been redone for the Texas State Championship which will be held on August 24 - 25. From what I hear they will be ready to race Friday.

8-5-02 I just got back from the Lonestar Nationals in Houston TX. I got 5th in class and 4th in open at National #1 and #2. It was my first race as a 10 year old.

Shreveport's very own "SUPERFLY" Dominique Phipps was sporting new colors this weekend. Hoiday Inn-Showtime has made a great addition to their team with this super fast 11 year old.

Mr. Al Hunt also hit the jackpot with his new riders. Pauline, Custer, and Nelson Fontana are now wearing KAMI colors and really living up to the team image. Custer picked up a big win on Saturday. Congratulations to KAMI and the FAST Fontanas.

7-30-02 Me, Craton, Caleb, and Curt rode trails today. We usually ride at Bodcau but we decided to go to Springridge for some reason. BIG MISTAKE! Me and Craton didn't make all of the trails because---- We went by an old grave yard and we heard some yelling. The yelling started getting closer and closer to us. And then someone started chasing us. We were on our bikes and going fast as we could but they kept getting closer and closer. Then finally we made it back to the trucks. But when we got there there was no sign of Caleb and Curt. Sooo...we had to go look for them. We were about a mile back in the woods when we stumbled on a strange sight. There were some sticks in the middle of the trail in a weird formation...along with Caleb Tucker's Camel Back. We thought "well maybe he just dropped it." But about another 100 yards into the woods we found something hanging from a tree. It was something like a doll made out of sticks, along with Curt's water bottle. I turned and looked at Craton and he turned and looked at me with sheer terror in his eyes and he yelled "Lets get outa here!". We turned around and peddled as fast as our legs would take us. We finally made it back to the truck. We waited for a few minutes to see if Curt and Caleb would come back but they didn't. It was getting dark and Craton had to bring me home so we left. We have not heard for Caleb or Curt since. I hope they are OK. Well anyway, I am leaving for Houston in the morning so I will update when I get back next week. And if you get a chance will someone go look for Curt and Caleb.

7-29-02 I got an email from Sean Dwight today and he says he may have another camp before the Grands. I will post if he does to let everyone know.

7-28-02 Kyle Bennet wins the UCI worlds. We are so happy for Kyle. I knew he could do it. Kyle ROCKS.

7-27-02 I got an email for Luke Madill today. He had an operation on his wrist last week and has 2 plates and alot of screws in his hand. He will be out of racing for awhile. I wish him a speedy recovery. We want him back in the USA so he can race.

7-25-02 Me and Craton went to the Bodcau trails again today. We beat our time from 2 days ago.It was fun. I can't wait until we go again.

7-23-02 I went to Bodcau Trails with my friends. We rode our moutain bike. It was so much fun. I put a new pic up of all of us on our MTBs.

7-21-02 I just got back from Desoto, Tx. I had a full weekend of racing. Friday night I raced Metroplex BMX and got 3rd on my cruiser. I raced a Texas state qualifier Saturday in Ft. Worth. 3rd again. Saturday night back to Metroplex. 3rd AGAIN! Sunday morning, Metroplex, state qualifier, guess what?....another 3rd. Four 3rds in one weekend...
Saturday night at Metroplex during practice another rider went down in front of me and I didn't have time to stop. I ran right into him. I hit him so hard it broke my forks. I hope he is OK. I don't know who he was but I didnt see him again for the rest of the weekend.
A good friend of mine, James Russell, went down hard Saturday at Cowtown. He is now in intensive care. He broke 5 ribs and puntured a lung. I wish him a speedy recovery. Let's all pray that he gets better soon.

7-12-02 I bought a mountain bike today. It is a Gary Fisher. I will go to Bodcau with my friends to ride trails. I will put pictures of it on my photo page tomorrow. I didn't go to Longview because it rained to much. Maybe the weather will be better tomorrow.

7-8-02 I just got back into town today. I had a birthday while I was away. So now I am a 10 intermediate. 2 wins away from EXPERT.

6-29-02 I found out yesterday that Desoto is going to have another national. I am glad since we thought the Redline cup was going to be there. I was really disappointed when I found out that I have to go to Nebraska. Now thats a long way.

6-28-02 I raced at Old Town BMX on my cruiser and got 2nd place. It was their Race For Life. The track was really slow. I got beat by NAG 10.

6-25-02 I just got in from the Mid West National and the BMX Mania camp. We had a great time. I trained with some of the top pros in the country and made some great new friends. I won the Mid West national on Saturday. I didn't race Sunday. I worked for Sean Dwight all day Sunday.

6-14-02 I am going out of town for a few weeks. I will update as soon as i get back.

6-12-02 Be sure to check out BMX Mania next week. I am going to be helping with the camp report.

6-10-02 I just got home today. I went on a mini vacation to Houston. We had a good time. I am getting ready to go to Elgin Il. I will be leaving Friday (June 14). We will be attending the BMX Mania Camp from June 18-20. From there I will go to Rockford Il for the Mid West Nationals on June 21.

6-02-02 I raced in Texas state qualifier today. I got to see all of my Texas friends. I still didn't feel to good.

6-1-02 I went to Sherman Tx. today. I didn't race. I was too sick. So was my mom. I stayed at the hotel all day. Bummer.

5-30-02 I won cruiser and got 2nd in class today. We got home late. I practiced all week so I am ready for this weekend.

5-27-02 I had a bad crash today. I had to go to the emergency room in Dallas. I bruised my ribs really bad. The doctor said that I could race in 3-10 days. I am going for 3 days. I have a big race this weekend that I don't want to miss.

5-25-02 I raced in Desoto Texas. I got 1st place in Cruiser and 2nd on my 20 inch. I had to race all 10 yr olds.

5-24-02 I raced in Longview Texas in the Race For Life. I got 1st in my cruiser class and 3rd 20 inch. I had fun except for when some fat man came up and started cussing at my mama and grandma.

We had our Race For Life on May 19. Lots of motos. Channel 12 came out and filmed some racing action. I won 9 and under Cruiser.
